Our sense of adventure is endless…that is until we ‘mature’. There’s always a sense that immaturity is a bad thing, a sign of slow development or a consequence of non-conforming to normality.
It’s forced upon us almost as if that’s the way it’s supposed to be. Of course we need to mature, as we grow we take on more responsibility for ourselves and those around us. But maturity doesn’t have to stifle our sense of adventure, our thirst for knowledge and exploration.
We must continue to grow and make meaningful contributions to ourselves and those we care about. The only way we can do this is by continually pressing at the boundaries of our comfort zones.
