Juggling

Ask a Toddler - Juggling

The ability to juggle is said to make you smarter, more attentive and agile. I wonder whether juggling the responsibilities of life counts…

We all have so much going on that juggling competing priorities, things that consume our time, is just a fact of life now. To be able to cover off on as many things as we want and need to there is a certain amount of juggling that is inevitable. As one pin is thrust up into the air we’re already reaching for the next whilst catching the one we had thrown up earlier. That’s if we’re dealing with your run-of-the-mill 3-pin juggle.

Throw in the mix a young family, a rewarding (and demanding) job, post graduate study, artistic interests and endeavours, ill health, family issues, relationship problems, self-esteem battles and all the other manageable issues we can have from time to time…it certainly becomes a juggling act.

Whatever the pins might look like for you and however many there are, there is no doubt you’re probably juggling…whether you’re any good at it I’m not sure. What I am sure about is that you can practice your juggling skills, you can become smarter more attentive and agile.
