Shady

Ask a Toddler - Shady

There are so many shady people out there it’s easy to forget that honest and genuine people exist.

The shadiness isn’t always obvious. It’s not as if these people are necessarily rude or obnoxious or even evil overtly and to your face [although people can be that way too]. What I’m talking about is deep rooted and entrenched in people’s nature…when the right or wrong option is available they choose the wrong option. It’s hard to refer to a day-to-day example other than the genuine evil that exists on a global scale that we see on the news every night…but rest assured the shadiness is amongst us everyday and all the time.

In amongst all these thorns there are roses. These beacons stand tall. They represent the minority. A moral compass if you will. They are a type of anti-shade that remind us all that although the world [and the people in it] are evil, there remains a hope and pursuit of good and right and proper that will always be because without good there is no evil.

If only we could all shine brightly enough to illuminate the shady and bring back the decency for our fellow human beings that exists in us all.
