When backing up large amounts of data and waiting an extraordinary amount of time for these 1s and 0s to get from here to there, it reaches a point of no return when you aren’t game enough to pull the plug and let go of the whole transfer from the beginning.
Much like the back-up process, we often travel so far down the rabbit hole that we feel like there is no other option but to keep on going. The reality is that in fact we can turn back, we can start again, there may have been time spent, but that is no reason in itself to carry on with the status quo.
