No matter what situation we’re in, we always have options. The thing is though, we need to create those options as they won’t always be there [or at least they may not be apparent to us].
Like Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, the world exists beyond the shadows but first we must realise that our reality may not actually be realistic. Our reality is cloaked, its artificial, its as a result of being chained to a wall of a cave merely witnessing other’s shadows.
We have the option to accept this reality or to enlighten ourselves of a reality that exists beyond our own whether we choose to accept it or not.
May we break free from the chains of deceit and walk away from the confines of the cave and awaken ourselves to reality.
